Become a Hunger Hero
Our mission is a big one — that's why we're dedicated to getting as many people to help as possible. There's a place on the packing line (and beyond) for everyone, ages 3 to 103.
Use your connections
Creating volunteer opportunities doesn't have to be a huge task. Most people have connections to schools, organizations, or companies — and we bet you do, too. These places are always looking for ways to give back.
Let your connections know about our meal-packing events. A phone call or a simple email can kickstart the process — and don't forget to tell your friends and family!
Lead young, lead big
Scholarship Program
Since 2018, any high school student who successfully organizes and fundraises a 30,000-meal packing event earns a $500 scholarship — and another $500 for every additional 30,000 meals. A 60,000-meal event earns $1,000, and so on.
Ask about scholarshipsLeadership Program
We partner with elementary schools to encourage students to lead their families in small money-saving changes — then put the savings toward a meal-packing event at their own school. Awareness, leadership, and real-world good, all in one.
Bring it to your school
"Youth thrive on connection. When you offer them opportunities to give back, they show up in record numbers!" — Kristin Samuelian
Safe hands, healthy food
Every Harvest Pack event follows FDA guidelines for safe food preparation. Hairnets and gloves are provided (and required — they're part of the fun!).

Two hours. Thousands of meals. One great story.
